abc Oncology Educational Courses 2014 Overview

The 2014 “abc in oncology educational course” was conducted in 3 sessions held on May 2nd, and August 9th at Golden Tulip Hotel ‐ Jiyeh Marina and on December 6th at Shams Al‐Assil restaurant.The topics covered were “Lung, Prostate and Breast Cancers”. Sessions were conducted over half days and gathered more than 50 participants each. 24 distinguished speakers animated the discussion and shared their expertise in the field, making every session a scientific hit. The topic focused mainly on multidisciplinary approaches, new modalities of diagnosis,updated disease treatment and side effect management. Diagnostic imaging, targeted therapies, surgical approaches and tailored management were the hottest topics discussed in all sessions
