Message from the Activity Director  

On behalf of the Department of Clinical Nutrition at the American University of Beirut Medical Center, I would like to warmly welcome you to the Lebanese International Nutrition Conference 2014 (LINC 2014), organized by the Continuing Medical Education Office (CME) at the American University of Beirut in collaboration with Science PRO.

This year, we are launching LINC with the theme of Clinical Nutrition: Translating Evidence into Practice. It will provide the attendees with practical knowledge to be applied at the workplace in areas such as cardiology, oncology and gastroenterology. As for the preconference workshop, it aims to equip dietitians with needed skills to manage the different types of diabetes through the workshop interactive case studies.

The conference targets clinical dietitians and physicians, as well as dietetic and medical students, in addition to nurses and allied health professionals interested in nutrition and dietetics.
It is hoped that LINC will become the national and regional destination to exchange nutrition expertise.
