Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is with great pleasure that I invite you to attend the LIFE meeting 2018. The scientifc committee of the Lebanese Fertility Society and the meeting organizers have put together a fantastic program covering updates in most of the subjects related to infertility management.

The new ESHRE guideline about PCOS and Endometriosis will be presented and special sessions for embryologists and urologists have been planned to ensure how keen we are on the multidisciplinary aspect of infertility treatment. I am sure that the meeting will provide each one of you with new and valuable knowledge. Very high-level International speakers from Europe, Australia and our sister Arabic countries have agreed to share their experience with us; I really thank them for their efforts and wish them a pleasant stay in Lebanon.

Furthermore, one of the main goals of the Lebanese Fertility Society is to promote Lebanon as a destination country for IVF treatment. The only way to achieve this is by putting in place permissive yet well studied guidelines and legislations and ensuring that very high quality services and ethical behavior are met in all Lebanese clinics. We are aware that the bad reputation of one center can ruin the reputation of all our centers. A lot of advances have been made by the Society in these regards and they will be presented and discussed in a specialized session during this meeting. I really count
on your presence to discuss this important matter with you.
