President Welcome
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
On behalf of the Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Surgery Departments at Notre Dame des Secours University Hospital, and in collaboration with the General Medical Workshop Association (G-MEA), the Africa-Middle East Association of Gastroenterology (AMAGE), the Jordanian Association of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Nurses and Associates (JAGENA), the Lebanese Society of Gastroenterology and the Lebanese Society for General Surgery, I am pleased to announce the 12th Byblos International Digestive Workshop (BIDW).
This is a three day long high-level workshop designed primarily for practicing physicians and health care professionals in the fields of gastroenterology, endoscopy and surgery who are seeking up-to-date information that can be applied to clinical practice.
This workshop represents a unique opportunity for hands-on experience with endoscopic therapeutic techniques, their applications and complications in the aim to provide patients with the best available treatment. The local and invited national and international guest faculty represents recognized experts and thought leaders in this special field of gastroenterology and digestive therapeutic endoscopy.
The workshop offers a mixture of presentations on current topics, review lectures, point-counterpoint presentations on controversial issues, with live procedure transmission from the endoscopic suite to the conference hall. The faculty experts will perform the live endoscopic procedures from University Hospital Notre Dame des Secours.
In this regards, I would like to invite you to what promises to be an excellent and highly educational learning experience; the 12th BIDW. We are keen on your participation to actively discuss, review and criticize all new updates on surgical and endoscopic procedures.
Looking forward to welcome you all in Lebanon.
