Dr. Georges El Hachem is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Balamand, Lebanon. He is engaged as a full-time oncologist at Saint George Hospital University Medical Center (SGHUMC), Lebanon. Dr. El Hachem has published around 90 articles on the most recent technology and research in hematology & medical oncology, treatment options, and the importance of the supportive care in the continuum of cancer care. He received his diplomas in Internal Medicine and in Hematology and Medical Oncology from the Saint George Hospital University Medical Center, Lebanon. Dr. El Hachem continued his training in medical oncology at Institut Jules Bordet and Ersame University Hospital at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), Belgium, as well as at Paris Sud University, France. He sub-specialized in Breast Cancer and Gynecological Malignancies and was recognized as the Best Fellow in the year 2017-2018 at ULB. Dr. El Hachem graduated as ESMO Leader in November 2019 and is an active member in the ESMO Leader Generation Program. He is also a member of numerous national and international scientic organizations. Dr. El Hachem is the Ambassador of Belgium in the Society of Hematologic Oncology (SOHO) in collaboration with MD Anderson. He serves as an active editorial board member as well as a reviewer in several peer-reviewed international journals and is the Editor-in-chief of the Acta Scientic Cancer Biology Journal. Dr. El Hachem also organized the Continuum of Breast Care Academy (CBCA) and participated in the organization of Lebanese Lung Cancer Academy (LLCA).
